DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: A TWISTED GAME

A family of four is stressed out due to the seemingly never-ending pandemic. Their bonds are breaking at the seams. The father, Hanif, a struggling writer is coping with the lack of inspiration. The mother, Leila, resorts to toxic positivity when her mother passes. Atilia struggles with the death of her beloved grandma until she spirals, meanwhile Haz is anxious and his anxiety is skyrocketing as every second ticks by. After a fight breaks off during their family video call, Hanif resorts to releasing his stress by playing a suspiciously old video game. With a simple utterance of a wish, he miraculously gets transported into Wonderland. A series of quests await and darkness lurks around him. A groundbreaking journey to self-discovery and the healing of family ties. Will Hanif survive Wonderland? Will he be able to get home? Will their family bond prevail?

Dead Water

Dead water occurs when a layer of fresh water rests on top of the denser salt water. Ships traveling through dead water conditions are slowed down almost to a standstill, no matter how fast they try to move. As humans, when we are in a state of consciousness where being alive feels quite the opposite, our body is alive like the ship, yet our minds have come to a stall, almost numb, like dead water. When this happens, we ask the questions, how do we carry on? Does it get better? How does it get better? This theatre film explores the sense of disconnect between the mind, body, and the external world - almost like having a sense of being elsewhere. Elsewhere in a place where reality is not grounded and time isn’t a straight, predictable line, but is more like a knotted ribbon. Trigger Warning: Distressing content

But danger lurks within the deep and our hero will soon discover that the greatest adventures are never made alone.

舞蹈是一种形体表演艺术，使用身体来完成各种优雅或高难度的动作，以有节奏的动作为主要表现手段，表现思想感情，反映社会生活。它一般借助音乐和其它的道具。舞蹈本身有多元的社会意义及作用，包括运动、社交、求偶、祭祀、礼仪等。 在全球都受到疫情的影响时，华仁中学舞蹈团却克服了重重困难举办了这场前所未有的线上舞展———《舞忆·疫》。只为提供一个平台让华仁中学舞蹈团的各位团员能展现出他们这一年来的学习成果。 即使受到疫情的限制，我们也希望这次的舞展能成为让大家欣赏舞蹈的桥梁。

UNSEX ME!

UNSEX ME is a devised play, looking at a few of Shakespeare's notable works that was driven by women's responses to the written conflicts. It is a cognitive reappraisal towards the recurring understandings and discussions regarding the role of women in Shakespearean plays. This devised performance approaches four distinct women characters - Desdemona of Othello, Ophelia of Hamlet, Miranda of The Tempest, and Lady Macbeth of Macbeth, resulting in a physical representation of arguments as well as reservations, addressing their purpose and existence. The use of selective physical manifestation is the axis to navigate the performer's path in their creation of their individual contestation. This provocative play will invoke your conventional acceptance of how William Shakespeare portrays women's contributions in his works.

Once Upon A Time (Part 5): “Tun Teja: Tale of Love & Betrayal” & “Pak Belalang: The Astrologer”

“Once Upon a Time” is a 5 part series of the almost forgotten Malaysian folklore, legends and tales of yesteryears. Each part consists of two stories, with the duration of 45 minutes each. Part V of the series will feature “Tun Teja: Tale of Love & Betrayal” and “Pak Belalang: The Astrologer ” .
