Connect with SEA (Gender & Sexuality): Residency Onsite & Online is a project organised by Thinkers’ Studio (Taiwan) and co-organized with Dance Nucleus (Singapore), Pineapple Lab (Philippines). It aims to start the conversation of gender & Sexuality issues in society by building a platform to support the younger generation of artists who focus on Gender & Sexuality creations or research, by gathering a group of artists to develop or adapt ideas and collaborate internationally and also to find the similarity of gender issue artists from three different countries working closely in Southeast Asia. The second year of the project also hopes to further deepen the creative network among SEA and by gathering creative support and administration resources from the co-organized.

The second part of the concert will have a more relaxed romantic vibe to it and will convey a story to our audience. The romantic age encourages a strong sense of self, through accentuating imagination, nature, and the movement of ideas. Are you ready to awaken your senses? These are the messages Dr. Poom hopes to convey to his audience through his musical portrayal of the romantic era’s titans. Dr. Poom Prommachart is a Steinway Artist, a prominent pianist, and a University of Montreal Doctor of Music graduate (awarded the 'Rector's List of Honour for the Most Exceptional Graduates').

A Notional History

In A Notional History, a performer, a journalist, and an activist excavate school textbooks, inherited memories, and video interviews of exiled revolutionaries – uncovering erasures, exclusions and questions around the Malayan Emergency. They investigate and speculate on the possible histories for a different Malaysia, intersecting the personal, the national, and the notional. This documentary performance responds to a critical moment in Malaysia – the publishing of new, official history textbooks – following the 2018 general elections where citizens voted out the Barisan Nasional government after 61 years in power.

夢的故事

全新劇場作品《夢的故事》由馬來西亞「平台計劃／劇團」與日本「亜細亜の骨」跨國製作。集結日本、台灣與馬來西亞三方的表演藝術工作者，以「夢」為核心，結合多種表演藝術形式，解放深埋於潛意識的瘋狂自我，探索人在虛構與現實、歷史與當代曖昧交織下的心靈圖像。 《夢的故事》由一群滯留於夢境海關的人們開始，百無聊賴之下，開始分享彼此的夢境故事。在這一個又一個的故事中，現代人生活的焦慮、壓抑的慾望，都在夢中變化成了時而瘋狂戲謔、時而優美詩意的幻想場景。更由於藉由東方文化中夢境與死亡連結的模糊地帶，為演出增添一抹亦真亦假的傳奇色彩。

KonTra : Bianglala

KonTra, merupakan hybrid antara 2 perkataan iaitu Kontemporari dan Tradisional, merupakan sebuah siri persembahan tarian Mix Bill yang terdiri daripada beberapa koreografer, menggabungkan tarian-tarian tradisional, klasik atau tarian rakyat dari komuniti-komuniti yang terdapat di Malaysia dengan elemen-elemen seperti kontemporari, kreasi baru, kreatif, digital atau sebagainya tanpa batasan. KonTra : Bianglala (bermaksud Pelangi) merupakan siri pertama yang menumpukan tarian-tarian dari masyarakat Melayu seperti Zapin, Joget, Inang dan Asli, tetapi digabungkan dengan elemen-elemen lain mengikut kreativiti masing-masing.

第十七届北方大学中华春节慈善晚会之《焮缘》将以线上模式呈现给大家。此次，北大新春的所有表演，拍摄都是由我们会员亲自策划，拍摄与掌机。一直以来，北大新春都秉持着“取之于社会，用之于社会”的精神，经常会去帮助那些需要帮忙的群体。此晚会所筹到的款项将会用以买日常生活用品给这些需要帮忙的群体。 Unity Spirit Towards Spring 2022 will be presented to you in online mode. This time, all the performances and shootings of Unity Spirit Towards Spring 2022 were planned, filmed and held by our members. For a long time, Unity Spirit Towards Spring has always adhered to the spirit of "take it from the society and use it for the society", and often helps those groups in need. The money raised from this show will be used to buy daily necessities for these needy groups.

Earthshine

Earthshine is the faint shine on the dark face of a New Moon (or when the Moon is a slim crescent) caused by the reflected sunlight from the Earth. In a similar fashion, this production will be highlighting the technical aspects of a typical performing arts show through set, lights, visuals, and music.
