CloudJoi Connect: Episode 1 – Resource Roundup

Introducing CloudJoi Connect, a gathering for the arts community to come together and explore new possibilities for collaboration and resource-sharing. Our first episode, titled "Resource Roundup," aims to connect individuals and organisations from all areas of the arts to discuss their offers, experiences, and opportunities.

Our goal for this event is to create a space where artists and creatives can come together to exchange ideas, collaborate on new projects, and build lasting relationships. We believe that by bringing together individuals from different backgrounds and disciplines, we can create a stronger and more vibrant arts community.

Talk 1 - A Tourism hub for art and Culture

Encore Melaka is been built to introduce the art performances to tourism sector. 

Talk 2 - Let the flower of art bloom in southern Malaysia

It's an introduction of the Permaisuri Zarith Sofiah Opera House, which is built by one of the China’s top 10 real estate developers – R&F Group. She is located in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, the Southernmost point of Eurasia. With the permission of His Majesty, The Sultan of Johor, the Opera House is honorary named after Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Permaisuri Johor. Being the first Opera House in the Southern Region, the Permaisuri Zarith Sofiah Opera House can accommodate more than 500 audiences spanning across 114,430 square feet. She opened in 2020, but due to the COVID-19,  she has not yet made a big splash, and has been sleeping like a sleeping beauty for 3 years. This year, the opera house officially reopened, and we hope to collaborate with more performance groups to make the flower of art bloom on the land of southern Malaysia.

Session 3 - Lightning Showcase

The Lightning Showcase is an exciting open-call session that invites members of the arts community to present their latest ideas and projects in a lightning-fast five-minute format with just a presentation slide. Whether you want to share your future plans, introduce yourself to new collaborators, or simply showcase your creativity, this is the perfect opportunity to get your voice heard and make meaningful connections with others in the industry.
