JSY 九十壹 was formed by a group of passionate jazz musicians based in Kuala Lumpur in 2017. The band strives for young and vibrant-sounding music, seeking a bright destiny and great exposure in the music industry.

The band consists of Celist Chow on the vocal, Eddy Lim on the saxophone, Lim Lee Peng on the piano, Icco Elnoel on the bass, and Terrence Ling on the drums. Each musician plays a different role in the band, with other talents and musical backgrounds. Different genres greatly inspired the band’s sound: R&B, Funk, Latin, and Jazz, to name a few.

The band always brings in a brand new taste of the current music with brand new arrangements of their own. The band has appeared in local jazz festivals and other private and public events.
