About This Event
Under the hush of night and the soft pull of moonlight, Moonlit Melodies unfolds as an intimate journey through song and sound. Sopranos Chew Shi Yun and Saori Suzuki, tenor Alphonsus Sim, and collaborative pianists Andre Ng and Iau Jo Yee come together in a programme of mélodie, lieder, and piano solos shaped by stillness, shadow, and reflection.
The evening also features appearances by 2026 Vocal Scholars Asha Menon and Ayesha Fariz.
From the luminous, drifting moonlight of Debussy, Fauré, and Liszt to the inward nocturnal worlds of Chopin, Strauss, and Berg, the music moves between glow and darkness, intimacy and longing—inviting the listener to linger in the quiet poetry of the night.
Voices and piano breathe, linger, and whisper — stories shaped by night, shadow, and dream.
