A Celebration of Rhythm, Heritage, and Living Tradition

Malam Gema Cak Lempong 2026 is a signature cultural showcase that honours the rich musical heritage of Negeri Sembilan through the dynamic and ceremonial sounds of Cak Lempong, one of the most iconic traditional music forms of the Minangkabau, Negeri Sembilan tradition in conjunction with His Royal Yang Dipertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan birthday. This special evening brings together master musicians, emerging performers, and cultural custodians in a vibrant presentation that bridges ancestral legacy with contemporary appreciation.

Rooted in adat, ritual, and communal life, Cak Lempong has long served as a musical expression for royal ceremonies, communal gatherings, and cultural rites. Through this production, audiences will experience not only the sound, but the spirit, philosophy, and identity embedded within the music.
