Marco George: A One-Man Band Show

Malaysian-Italian singer-songwriter Marco George has been unstoppable in his songwriting journey. This multi-instrumentalist defies genre boundaries by seamlessly blending pop; rock; rap; psychedelia; and dance into songs that evoke vivid; cinematic landscapes; playing out like movies in the listener’s mind. At a young age; he was exposed to different artists like Scorpions; Pink Floyd; Bon Jovi but especially U2. Having said that; you could say his performance style and sound is quite similar to Ed Sheeran; FKJ; Bruno Mars and Jason Mraz. Even though Marco had taken piano guitar and drum lessons at a young age; he is mostly a self-taught musician. His best teacher was Youtube. Marco is not classically trained but has a lot of passion and love for the art form. He has released 4 EP’s and 14 singles to date Infusing his film and theater background into his performances; Marco’s live shows are a must-see; whether he's solo with his trusty Boss loop pedal or backed by a band. Being a multi genre artist is just the way he expresses himself; not contained by one thing.
