The Experience & Setting As evening settles over the city, the heart of Else transforms. Under the architectural canopy of the skylight at Raw, we invite you to step away from the urban bustle and into a sanctuary of sensory immersion. For one night only, our restaurant is reimagined as a listening room—an intimate, 360-degree theater where the boundaries between performer and guest dissolve.

The Collaboration Bringing together two of Malaysia’s most visionary creators: acclaimed pianist Hii Mei Lin and renowned light artist Jun Ong. Sonus Luminus is collaboration born from the desire to visualize sound and feel rhythm.

Suspended in space, a luminous grid mirrors the architecture of the grand piano, unfolding into a tesseract form beyond its physical body. As the piano sounds, light responds, tracing unseen pathways where time bends and overlaps. Together, sound and illumination bridge space, time, and the unknown.

Music & Ambience The evening’s repertoire leans into the evocative world of Modern Classicalism and "New Minimalism." Expect a journey through the hauntingly beautiful and atmospheric soundscapes of Hania Rani and Nils Frahm in a setting that is both intimate and transportive.

Know Before you Go

Arrival & Doors: 

• Our doors will open 30 minutes prior to the performance. We encourage you to arrive early to find your seat under the skylight and settle into the space.

Refreshments:

• Drinks will be available for purchase at Raw before the show. Please note that bar service will close 10 minutes before the performance begins to ensure a quiet, uninterrupted environment for the music and light installation.

Capturing the Moment:

• You are more than welcome to take photos and videos to remember the evening. However, to not disturb the performance, flash photography is strictly prohibited.

Mindful Presence:

• We invite you to silence your mobile devices and immerse yourself fully in the dialogue between sound and light.
