SOS Spotlight On Schools
by Freedom Film Network
2:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Free entry, RSVP (link)

This program features six Malaysian short films that explore the complex social realities within school environments, shedding light on pressing issues often left unspoken but deeply felt — such as gossip, power dynamics, bullying, and sexual abuse in schools.

Powered by Pocket of Pink, the program also features a 10-minute theatre performance that expands these themes through live, interactive storytelling, encouraging empathy, and dialogue.

The films form an emotional and thought-provoking journey through the hidden struggles of growing up in school, inviting us to reflect on what it means to truly #MakeSchoolASaferPlace.

Following the screenings, participants are invited to a post-screening forum for open discussion and reflection, creating a safe space to share experiences and insights.
