About This Event

Choo Tee Kuang has walked with dance for nearly forty years. Since the 1980s, he has stepped onto countless stages—first as a dancer, then choreographer, teacher, and mentor. But it is different this time: it is his first creation as a truly free person. After more than four decades, he returns to the stage embodying nothing but freedom itself.

In 2023, in the aftermath of the pandemic, Tee Kuang fulfilled a long-held dream by founding the KongCI Contact Improvisation Group. Their participation in YOU ARE NOT ALONE is both meaningful and profoundly challenging—marking the very first time KongCI shares their dance with a larger audience.
