A Seat at the Living Table
Created by local residents and volunteers, Klang River Festival invites everyone in the Klang Valley to take a seat by the riverside table, and become a stakeholder of the river.

About This Event
Inspired by the Klang River and natural riparian ecosystem, the table takes a long form, echoing the winding river. The living table is made of rammed earth layers and living grass, and raised on โlegsโ made of branches, like a caterpillar or millipede walking along the riverside. The layered section shows the stratification of the underlying problems of our rivers, revealing its layers to the public.
With a total length of 15 metres, the table becomes a connector, with everyone being able to add to the table with their own creation, becoming a part of a larger group.
Everyone is welcome to visit this free and open installation at any time during the advertised festival period (26.09 - 5.10)!
