About This Event

Kuala Lumpur got its famous name of kuala (confluence) and lumpur (muddy), as it was founded at the muddy confluence of the Klang and Gombak river. The importance of the river to the city could not be understated, yet many in the city are unaware of the life-giver that flows in their urban environments. Part 2 (which will premiere next year) focuses on the restoration efforts and symbols of hope for the river, hoping to inspire the community to feel connected to the river and to take care of it with renewed respect
