About This Event

Joanne Nathaniel is a multidisciplinary creative and community organiser who explores clothing and textiles as tools for connection, collective care, and creative expression.

Through her initiative Stories We Wear, she facilitates mending and upcycling workshops, leads communal textile art activations, and curates educational experiences that spark dialogue around fashion, culture, and sustainability. She also writes and creates content that amplifies diverse voices shaping more inclusive and imaginative fashion futures.

As we gather through the radical act of repair, we also reflect on how collective care can restore the rivers that sustain our lives and communities.
