About This Event

Experience the beauty of German lieder and piano music brought to life through the poetry of Mörike, Heine, and Goethe, set to exquisite music by Wolf, Strauss, Mendelssohn, Mozart, and Schumann. From Hugo Wolf’s jubilant “Er ist’s” and Strauss’ luminous “Freundliche Vision”, to Mendelssohn’s tender “Duetto”, Mozart’s flirtatious “An Chloë”, and the mystical charm of Wolf’s “Elfenlied” and eerie “Nixe Binsefuss”, each piece unveils a vivid tale of springtime wonder, tender longing, or fairy-tale enchantment.

🎤 Performed by soprano Chew Shi Yun, soprano Saori Suzuki, and tenor Scott Woo, with the brilliant Darrel Chan and Iau Jo Yee at the piano, this intimate evening of storytelling in song promises charm, depth, and theatrical flair.
