Author Imran Ahmad shares why he’s taking the stage pro bono at BoboKL for a one-night-only fundraiser supporting PEN Malaysia, the national chapter of the global writers’ network defending freedom of expression.
In this video, Imran reflects on why the right to speak and write freely matters now more than ever—and what audiences can expect from the show. Part stand-up, part literary reading, part motivational journey, it’s an evening of storytelling, social reflection, and laughter, all woven into one remarkable live event.
Imran will read from his memoir, explore how the world has shifted since the late 20th century, and share insights on life, identity, and publishing... with wit, warmth, and zero pretension.
