About This Event

“Everyone can act. Everyone can improvise. Anyone who wishes to can play in the theater and learn to become stageworthy.” – Viola Spolin

Improv is back! With fresh games, new challenges, and the same fearless, playful spirit.

Led by Farah Rani of AI:IA Improv, this 8-hour workshop dives into the essentials of theatrical improvisation — where thinking on your feet, trusting your instincts, and working as an ensemble are key. Expect fun games, creative risks, and lots of laughter as you learn to respond in the moment and express yourself more freely.

Whether you're:

  • a seasoned actor wanting a “back-to-basics” refresh
  • a beginner discovering your artistic voice
  • or a non-actor curious to tap into your creativity

This workshop offers something new for everyone. With brand-new exercises and games, returning participants are most welcome!

Each session is built around learning by doing. You’ll play, experiment, make mistakes (gloriously!), and discover new tools for creative growth and collaboration.

Improv isn’t just a skill — it’s a practice. And it’s a whole lot of fun. So come as you are, and get ready to play!
