Taiping is a town shaped by layers of history, where every street and building has a story to tell. This walking tour offers a chance to slow down and explore its rich cultural and architectural heritage, from colonial-era structures to lesser-known landmarks tucked away in quiet corners.

Along the way, stories of Taiping’s past will unfold, how the town grew, changed, and responded to different times. The tour is led by Teoh Chee Keong, an architect and lecturer at UCSI University who was born in Taiping. With a deep familiarity and understanding of the town, he will guide participants through its historical landscape, highlighting key moments and features that have shaped Taiping into what it is today.
