Sunshine, good vibes, and golden brass, what better way to spend a Sunday afternoon? Good Sound Trombone invites you to Slide into Summer, a refreshing and joyful trombone quartet recital bursting with warmth, colour, and musical charm.

Take in the sounds of summer with a stellar lineup of homegrown talent: Ong Aun Guan, Low Wen Hong (Lance), Yap Jun Wei, and Low Kim Ven (Kestle). This dynamic quartet serves up an exciting mix of classical gems, romantic elegance, and contemporary grooves, which are all tailored for the bold and brilliant voice of the trombone.

From the drama of Verdi and the wit of Koetsier, to the vibrance of Bernstein and the exotic pulse of Chow Jun Yi, the programme is packed with surprises, featuring works by Guilmant, Pryor, Tchaikovsky, Serocki, and more.

Adding a lush layer of sound is pianist Celestine Yoong, joining the concert on selected works with trombone solos to bring even more sparkle and soul to the stage.
