Melakan ReSonance | Performing with Confidence: General Musicianship Workshop
This workshop is for budding music performers or if you're curious about the inner workings of performance in music! Join us for workshops by Andrew Ng and Christopher Mui, who know many a thing about performance and teamwork as they work daily with world renowned orchestras.
About This Event
Through this interactive workshop coached by two professional musicians, students will have the opportunity to learn from these experienced musicians, develop their musical skills, and foster a sense of community within the band and with other bands in Melaka. This will also allow students to learn alongside other music students from different schools. A certificate of participation will be awarded to each participant.
The facilitators selected to help facilitate the workshops are world class musicians. They will work on the following during the workshop:
1. Breathing
2. Musicianship Skills
3. Listening Skills
4. Ensemble Skills
5. Intonation (Being in tune)
6. Performance practice
