An Interactive Folk Song Experience with
PUSAK (Persatuan Anak Seni Sape) & Benedict JC Lo (Kuching Choral Society) (Malaysia)

Step into the heart of Borneo with Sing Sarawak!, an immersive and joyful celebration of Sarawak’s musical traditions. Led by members of PUSAK—Sarawak’s premier folk arts collective—and festival director Benedict JC Lo, this interactive session introduces participants to the captivating world of Sarawakian folk songs. Expect to learn traditional melodies, vocal stylings, rhythmic clapping, and simple dance movements passed down through generations.

Suitable for all ages and musical backgrounds, this hands-on workshop invites you to sing, move, and connect with Sarawak’s rich cultural tapestry. From rainforest-inspired sounds to ethnic harmonies, you’ll leave with unforgettable memories and new songs in your heart.

Note: Wear comfortable clothing for movement. Bringing your own water bottle is encouraged. Photography and filming may be conducted for festival promotional use.
