Re-Public Sharing Talk

Re-Public is a practice-as-research project that is curious about supporting and activating bodies in relation to spaces in this city – reimagining, re-experiencing, re-coding, and shifting the dynamic of bodies being here and participating in the city.

About This Event

The team has been exploring – through practice – a collective embodiment practice in public spaces in the city, that can be carried into one’s day-to-day, in other spaces of encountering more bodies.

The approach of the practice is body-centred, inspired by Resmaa Menakem’s book My Grandmother’s Hands, and deeply nourished and supported by conversations with Lee Su-Feh and her Scores for Dancing Across Distances.

In this event, Ren Xin, the project lead, will share about the (messy) process that unfolded as the project took its first step in this year’s chapter.
