Dive into the intriguing quantum world and discover what it truly means to navigate this fascinating realm—all at a scale that you can grasp! This one-of-a-kind workshop opens up new ways to understanding intricacies of physics, existing in the thrilling intersection of art, design, and optics to introduce the complexities of quantum physics.
From 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, witness a stunning demonstration of the Mach-Zehnder interferometer (Quantum Light Art), showcasing the peculiar phenomenon of spooky action at a distance, and where the past is not what it seems. Then, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on, maker-like activity where you'll create your own interpretations using arts and crafts techniques.
But that’s just the beginning! From 11 AM to 5 PM, you’ll have the chance to play early prototypes of two out-of-this-world tabletop quantum games—a thrilling otome RPG (Love Metrics) and a strategic espionage card game (Quantum Port). Don’t miss out on the *sandbox section*, where you can unleash your creativity and explore the enchanting world of optical magic.
