Life Is… The Musical

Life Is… is a hopeful new musical inspired by true events, exploring how a man's sudden diagnosis changes everything. To process his fears and shame, he creates wild, musical stories that help him discover new worlds of self-discovery and acceptance. Directed, written and produced by Tomos Nicholls and Vale V Wong of the KLMC (Kuala Lumpur Men’s Chorus), this musical comes to life in collaboration with CERIA (Centre of Excellence For Research in AIDS, with some grant money from IAS (International AIDS Society). With a cast of 19 KLMC men, and 3 performer friends, the goal is to create and tell a story that illuminates a journey of acceptance, fun, fear, regret and love.

ABOUT KLMC

The Kuala Lumpur Men’s Chorus, founded in July 2022, is comprised of 25 male voices from across Malaysia and beyond. Their goal is to build friendship through song, dance, and choirhood, while giving back to underrepresented communities.

Age Recommendation : 18 years and above
