“Gotong-Royong Huruf II” Malaysia Typography Workshop

马来西亚字体创造工作坊

In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Merdeka, we would like to celebrate by giving our beloved country a new cham (type)face built in the spirit of ‘Gotong-Royong’. Gotong-Royong Huruf is a type design marathon that will bring together the Malaysian community to create a local-inspired typeface. Through this workshop, we hope to foster the local type community and explore various interpretations of our huruf together-gether.

为了欢庆国庆日，我们希望打造一种新的字体（typeface）来表达我们对马来西亚的爱和祝福。Gotong-Royong Huruf 是一个可以凝聚社区一同来参与的字体设计马拉松活动。我们将与参与者共同创造一些受本地元素启发的基本字体。我们希望借由此工作坊促进本地字体的发展，并带领大家一起探索各种字体的形状。
