Michele Gentile

Michele Gentile is a multifaceted individual with an unwavering passion for filmmaking. Hailing from the south of Germany, he has accomplished much in his illustrious career. During his deployment as a patrolling soldier in Afghanistan in 2009, he produced his first documentary, On Mission which was set in Kabul.

Michele’s immense talent has also attracted the attention of Netflix, where he served as a creative producer, co-director, and editor in 2023. His distinctive vision and creativity are certain to captivate audiences worldwide. His latest project is War And Justice, which he co-directs with Marcus Vetter.


This event is part of FreedomFilmFest 2024, which is organised by Freedom Film Network (Pertubuhan Perfileman Sosial Malaysia), a non-profit society dedicated to the development and promotion of social justice and human rights films.
