TEACHER GONE WILD - A STAND-UP COMEDY SPECIAL!

Teacher Gone Wild isn’t just stand-up comedy; it's a whole vibe, diving into the real talk (sure or not?) about being a special needs teacher, navigating life's curveballs (some were just straight shots that were missed), and keeping it real (somewhat) about menopause. Shaq's bringing the heat (no pun there), at the debut of her hour long stand-up special with the help of showrunners, the Laughing Gas, Penang Comedy Events and Jac Reviews Stuff.

Shaq Munisamy, born and bred in Penang but now based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Subang Jaya really), is making waves in the comedy scene like nobody's business. This lady (read badass woman) is no joke, a founding member of Gelak Komedi, co-showrunner of the Laughing Gas, Amma/Akka to many comedians (Nooooooo!), is holding it down and stacking up accolades like it's a comedy revolution. She took home the crown at LOL Events' Comedy Competition 2018, got the crowd roaring with that Audience Choice Award at Short & Sweet Comedy 2020, and you know she was blazing trails as the Runner-Up at the KL Roast Tournament 2022. Shaq isn’t playing around, folks (comedy is serious business, y’all).

Before the whole world went topsy-turvy (the mighty C that stopped the world for a minute), Shaq was already killing it on stages across Malaysia, dropping truth bombs and punchlines like nobody's business. She even took her comedy chops international at the Hong Kong International Comedy Competition in 2018, spreading laughter worldwide. Then boom, pandemic hits, and Shaq doesn't miss a beat. She flips the script and embraces Zoom comedy, cracking jokes from her own space and connecting with audiences everywhere (best part of the pandemic).
