Mozart at the Mansion

With soaring selections of Mozart's arias and duets, the Kuala Lumpur City Opera (KLCO) is bound to transform the opulent Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, also known as The Blue Mansion, into a vibrant home for the opera. Featuring KLCO's very own soprano Ang Mei Foong, soprano Ho Chi Mei, baritone Samuel Lim as well as Penangites mezzo soprano Yi Ling Chaing and bass-baritone Chi Hoe Mak and accompanied by KLCO resident conductor Colombian Dr. Juan Montoya on piano, "Mozart at the Mansion" will bring joy to opera lovers' hearts with the splendour of Mozart's most popular music taken from three of his most famous operas, "Le Nozze di Figaro" (The Marriage of Figaro), "Don Giovanni" and "Die Zauberflöte" (The Magic Flute).

About Kuala Lumpur City Opera (KLCO)

KLCO (formerly known as Eat, Sing & Travel People) is the only western opera company in Malaysia and has been actively staging opera productions since 2012. The group was awarded four BOH Cameronian Kakiseni Arts Awards for their productions; L'elisir D'amore (2014), Voices & Winds (2014), and Madama Butterfly (2018), which received six nominations in the BOH Cameronian Awards.
