KL Art Book Fair 2023

Borne by artist-run culture and the self-publishing scene, the Kuala Lumpur Art Book Fair (KLABF) gathers and fosters individual artists, illustrators, designers, independent publishers, writers, photographers, institutions, and printmakers, who create distinctive art books and prints. 

KLABF 2023 returns for its third edition which brings together 112 international and homegrown exhibitors from over 13 countries. In addition to an extensive range of art books, zines, magazines and limited-run imprints, visitors can also look forward to a series of book launches and talks, sharing sessions, hands-on workshops, exhibitions, etc.

Founded in 2021, the KLABF is an independent annual event celebrating contemporary art, design and printed matter led by LIE Design. Being the first-of-its-kind in Malaysia, the KLABF stands as a global platform for creative practitioners and the self-publishing community to unite, collaborate and explore design printworks in the realm of artistic endeavours while offering audiences a window to discover some of the world’s best indie publishers, artbook makers and artists, all within a single setting.
