Synopsis

It Doesn’t Go Away

Emotion does not go away. This piece of work is a reflection of how disturbing can a feeling transformed, especially in challenging times like this, where things are uncertain and it often feels like one is sinking but there is no one there to help.

Now You See Me

It does not matter how much we try to hide or avoid, it is just not possible to hide away from the many forms of surveillance around us. We go through our lives pretending, or assuming that we are not affected by it; but as technology advances, instead of negating the various forms of surveillance, we have somehow embraced surveillance through the use of social media. This screendance looks at how surveillance could also be possible in bringing us entertainment and pleasure.

There will also be a 30-minute Q & A session after the presentation, you are welcomed to stay to find out more!
