Xiong Lee

Guitarist, composer, and arranger have paid his dues playing innumerable club gigs, and through it all, he has worked with the likes of Harvey Malaiholo (Indonesian vocalist), Kris Dayanti (Indonesian vocalist), Angelita Li (vocalist from Hong Kong), Jonas Gwanga (jazz trombonist from South Africa), John Kaizan Neptune (an American shakuhachi exponent), Steve Thornton (percussionist from New York), Valtinho Anastacio (a much sought after percussionist from Brazil) Apart from the run-of-the-mill club gigs, he has performed in various local music festivals, some of which were, the Kuala Lumpur Arts Festival, Sarawak Rainforest Music Festival, Langkawi Arts Festival. Penang Jazz Festival, Sabah Jazz Festival, Jak Jazz Festival.

WVC 

WVC consists of bandleader/composer/arranger/music director/pianist Tay Cher Siang; bassist AJ; and drummer Adriel Wong. The band is one of the most active units on the Malaysian performance circuit, and performs alongside many Malaysian and international artists, and is one of the most sought after jazz bands in Malaysia.

WVC have released six albums to date: these albums explore different musical genres, while maintaining the spirit of jazz as their core, and feature different line-up combinations. The band experiments with transforming pop tunes, Chinese classics and mainstream music into new jazz rearrangements.

WVC continues to push musical boundaries, producing innovative, boundary-breaking projects including: Shakespeare Jazz; Haruki Murakami and Jazz; The Shang Sisters; Modern Nanyang; and the pre-independence Malayan music project.

Jens Bunge (Chromatic Harmonica)

As a “Master of Harmonica” he was invited to perform and conduct jazz workshops at the World Harmonica Festivals in Trossingen/Germany, the Asia Pacific Harmonica Festivals in South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Merate Musica in Italy and the SPAH Convention in St. Louis/USA. ​ By now, Jens Bunge has recorded eight albums under his own name with Concert tours and guest performances brought him to Spain, Italy, Prague, Krakow, Rio de Janeiro, Chicago, Bangkok, Shanghai and Wellington/New Zealand.
